Jessica walked in with her white coat, hair up in a bun and a clipboard in her hand. "I know I know, I'm late." she said throwing her hands up when her boss walked up. She was still holding the clipboard. Her boss put her hands on her hips and shook her head. She didn't like tardyness. "Don't worry, I'm here now and I'll make up for it." She hurried to the back room, the dog kennel, and tossed her clipboard on her desk. She didn't get an office yet. Jessica noticed the sound of the door opening. She ran out and got behind the desk. Usually someone other than the vet did that, but they were shorthanded today. It was David however. "What do you want?" she asked. David grinned. He knew she was busy, but he loved making her mad. "Nothin" he shrugged and left. Jessica frowned and turned around to go back to the kennel, but decided to wait for a real customer.

Steven walked into the vets waiting room and sat down. He glanced out of the window to check that the foal was still okay then sat back again. Hopefully the little colt would be given the all clear and there'd be no complications but he knew it didn't work like that.

Jessie spotted Steven walk in and was glad she stayed in here, otehrwise he'd be left waiting. "Hey Steven. You can sign in over here." she said waving a clipboard in her hand and then put it on the desk.

Steven smiled, "I didn't know you worked here Jessie." she said signing his name on the clipboard given. "It's just the new foal. We called the emergency vet out a few nights ago." he said, smiling broadly.

Jessica smiled back and took the clipboard over to a slot with some others. Only a few moments after that, another vet took the clipboard and looked through it calling someone else's name. "Yeah I just started the other day. I figured that maybe getting a little extra cash to help David would be good for the farm. Plus I've always loved being a vet." As she finished, the other vet, Dr. Ray, looked out the window to see the foal. "Steven Hermison?" he called. Jessie looked up at Dr. Ray and then at Steven.
